Last updated: 31 August 2026

1. Business

COMRAT NL – Catering & Events, trading name of Comrat
Burgemeester van der Borchlaan 11-A, 3722 GZ Bilthoven
Chamber of Commerce 53446739 · info@comrat.nl

2. Scope

These terms apply to quotations and agreements for catering, food service and events. Deviations apply only when agreed in writing.

3. Quotation and agreement

Unless stated otherwise, a quotation is valid for 14 days. An agreement arises after written acceptance by the customer and confirmation by COMRAT NL. Obvious errors do not bind us.

4. Prices and payment

Consumer prices include VAT unless clearly stated otherwise. Additional costs known in advance are stated before the agreement. A 30% deposit is due after confirmation; the balance no later than 7 days before the event, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Numbers and changes

The final number of guests and relevant dietary requirements and allergies must be provided in writing no later than 7 days before the event. Later changes are made only where reasonably possible and may involve extra costs.

6. Cancellation by the customer

  • more than 30 days before the event: free of charge, except demonstrable external costs previously disclosed and not recoverable;
  • 15 to 30 days: 30% of the agreed price;
  • 8 to 14 days: 50%;
  • 7 days or less: 100%.

For consumers, the fee is reasonably reduced where our actual loss is demonstrably lower or we obtain a replacement booking. See also the Cancellation terms.

7. Right of withdrawal

In principle, there is no statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for catering and leisure services on a specific date or during a specific period. This does not affect other statutory consumer rights.

8. Customer obligations

The customer provides accurate information in time and ensures safe, timely access to the venue, suitable facilities and necessary permissions. Extra costs caused by inaccurate or late information may be charged where reasonable and disclosed in advance.

9. Allergens and food safety

Report allergies and intolerances before ordering. We provide information on the 14 allergens required by law. Cross-contamination in a shared kitchen can never be ruled out entirely. See our Allergen information.

10. Alcohol

Alcohol is supplied or served only where agreed and legally permitted. We do not provide alcohol to anyone under 18.

11. Force majeure

In circumstances beyond reasonable control, the parties discuss postponement or an appropriate solution. Amounts received for unperformed services are refunded, less demonstrable, reasonable, non-recoverable costs, insofar as permitted by law.

12. Liability

COMRAT NL is liable for direct loss arising from an attributable breach, within the limits of mandatory law. Liability is not excluded where exclusion is prohibited by law, including loss caused by intent or conscious recklessness.

13. Complaints

Report a complaint as soon as possible and within a reasonable time to info@comrat.nl, with a clear description. We acknowledge the complaint and aim to respond substantively within 14 days.

14. Privacy and law

See our Privacy statement. Dutch law applies to the agreement. Disputes are heard by a court with statutory jurisdiction; consumers retain their mandatory legal protections.
